Luke Takeuchi

I have worked in the social housing sector for 18 years across local government in homelessness and then in the housing association sector. In England I spent 8 years working for one of the UK’s largest Housing Associations Places for People. In 2014 I joined RHA Wales Housing Association as Director (formerly Rhondda Housing Association) and became CEO in 2018.

I have joined the RPB because I am passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and improving the partnerships and opportunities between health, housing and social care.

Rachel Honey-Jones

I am Head of Community Regeneration and the Designated Safeguarding Lead at Newydd Housing Association.

I see my role on the RPB as a spokesperson for the social housing sector, which I am extremely passionate about and ensuring housing is making the links with the strategic partners around the table.

Outside of the day job, I am also Vice Chair of the Board at Merthyr Valley Homes – Wales’ first tenant and employee mutual, a HACT Board member, CIH Cymru Housing Futures Panel Member and was a Finalist in 24 Housing’s Young Leaders 2015.
