Why are we doing this?

We need to understand what health, social care and wellbeing services are important to people living in our region, so we can create new services and improve existing ones.

These events, which we are calling ‘hack-a-thons’, will give both professionals and residents an opportunity to come together and share their thoughts and feelings on various topics, ranging from mental health to increasing accessibility to Health and Social Care services.

Each event will include creative activities to help people express themselves. We are very grateful to have creatives including songwriters, artists and filmmakers involved in this work.

The insights from these activities will feed into our Population Needs Assessment, and also the Wellbeing Assessment which is being developed by the Cwm Taf and Bridgend Public Services Boards.
